Improving Living Services helps children, adults, and families access behavioral health, medical, educational, social, and community-based services through professional care coordination and case management. We proudly provide bilingual services in English and Spanish.

WHAT ARE BEHAVIORAL & MENTAL HEALTH CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES?
Case management helps children and adults with behavioral health needs access and coordinate the services and resources they need. Our case managers work with individuals and families to connect them with medical, behavioral health, educational, social, and community-based services while coordinating care and monitoring progress toward individualized goals.

CHILDREN
CASE MANAGEMENT
This service requires a need for advocacy and coordination of emotional, education, social and medical assistance to improve the child level of functioning.

ADULTS BEHAVIORAL CASE MANAGEMENT
The adult recipients must have a need for assistance in attaining self sufficiency and satisfaction in the living, learning, work and social environment of choice.

INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT
Our Intensive Case Management services provide enhanced coordination and support for eligible individuals with complex behavioral health needs. Case managers assist with accessing treatment, coordinating providers and community resources, supporting continuity of care, and promoting stability and greater independence.

Meet our Chief Executive Officer
CARMEN GUZMAN NEGRETE
Carmen Guzman Negrete is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Improving Living Services. With more than two decades of experience in behavioral health, social services, Medicaid programs, case management, provider operations, and community-based services, Carmen provides strategic leadership and oversight for the organization.
Her professional background includes targeted case management, program development, staff supervision and training, Medicaid compliance, quality assurance, provider credentialing, and the development of community partnerships and referral networks. Throughout her career, she has focused on improving access to services for children, adults, and families with behavioral health and complex social-service needs.

Carmen is committed to building culturally responsive, bilingual programs that recognize the strengths, values, and individual needs of every person and family served. Under her leadership, Improving Living Services continues to strengthen its partnerships, expand access to care and community resources, and develop new opportunities to support individuals and families across the communities it serves.
